Community-Based Research is a guide for Native American community researchers as well as professionals working with Native American communities. The author discusses basic elements of research, including types of research, problem statement, goals and objectives, methodology and expected results. This is followed by an introduction to four methods of a research project: Needs Assessment, Survey Research, Program Evaluation, and Cultural Arts. Each chapter offers a synopsis, step-by-step instructions, alerts, proposals, and checklists.
